Graham Stokes is director of dementia care services at HC-One and honorary visiting professor of personcentred
dementia care at the University of Bradford. Graham has 35 years’ experience as a dementia care specialist, much of the time as a consultant in the NHS, but for the past 20 years in the care home sector. He has been instrumental in developing and communicating person-centred approaches to understanding behaviour in dementia, with particular reference to behaviours that challenge.
